Hans Eric is a Partner in Amrop’s Amsterdam office, a member of Amrop’s Global Professional Services Practice Group, and board member of Amrop’s Global Board Practice Group.

Hans Eric started his career in 1985 as Civil Law Candidate Notary in The Hague, The Netherlands. He subsequently held legal, commercial and financial management positions at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (1989-2008) as Senior Legal Counsel, Deputy Head Legal Department, Marketing Manager South East Europe (Milano, Italy), SVP & Company Secretary and SVP Group Aircraft Finance & Insurance. He held board positions at KLM Financial Services BV (Managing Director), Amsterdam Schiphol Pijpleiding BV (Finance Director), KLM Catering Services BV (Supervisory Director) and KLM Pension Fund for Cabin Staff (Vice-Chairman). Hans Eric joined Amrop as Partner in January 2009.

Hans Eric holds a Masters Degree in Civil and Notarial Law from Leiden University, The Netherlands. Specializing in (non) executive board positions and professionals in Legal, Tax, Finance, Risk/Compliance and Audit, he works for leading international Professional- and Financial Services organizations and top tier companies across all industries and sectors. He has a special interest in the Aviation industry.
