A Belgian citizen, Martin joined Amrop PMC in 2009. He has vast international experience both in Europe and Latin America and a focus in entrepreneurship, management consulting and sustainability.
Martin started his career as a Controller at leading international companies in Europe and Latam and moved to management consulting in 1992. After a five-year tenure in Europe he then moved to Brazil, where he spearheaded the start-up of a renowned European management consultancy, which he ran until 2005.
As a retained executive search consultant, Martin works for a diversified set of clients and executive positions with a primary focus on the process industry, technology, consumer goods and professional services as well as for not-for-profits. He has a keen interest in Sustainable Development, Responsible Global Leadership, Corporate Governance and Startups.
Martin is a member of The Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC) and a non executive Director at Alliance Française São Paulo. He is a member of Amrop’s Latin America Business Group and Automotive & Industry Practice Group.
Martin has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), continuing education in Real Estate Investments, Responsible Management for Sustainability and Corporate Governance (IBGC). He is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
