Richard Besley has spent 20 years in Management Consulting assisting CEOs, senior executives and boards develop business strategies and execute operational transformations. His early career was in the shipping industry where he gained commercial experience with organizations such as Australian National Line where he held marketing and commercial manager positions. On completion of his MBA he started his career in advisory, initially with KPMG in Corporate Finance working on corporate restructures. He later became a Partner of Coopers & Lybrand and then PricewaterhouseCoopers in Management Consulting working across a diverse range of industries –consulting to major corporates, government departments and government business enterprises. Prior to joining Amrop Cordiner King, Richard moved to IBM as part of their acquisition of PwC Consulting, where he undertook a number of roles in Australia and Asia Pacific. Richard works on CEO and direct reports to CEO searches across a range of industries and functional areas, including non-executive director search. He has a Bachelor of Economics degree and an MBA from the University of Melbourne.
